Y ahora, agosto

Wow, goodbye July, how time flies.
This week went well! We're progressing here with the ward, and we had divisions two times this last week, it was awesome! These girls are the bomb-diggety. I'm lucky to know them!

This week, we had a lesson with an older couple, named Lorenzo and Gari. They are very sweet and wonderful people, who really want to find what God wants for them, not what's convenient or easier for them. I love to find people like that. They are now reading their Book of Mormons to study it out, and ask God if it's true or not, but our last lesson with them was one of those where everyone's on the same page, and we, as much as they, are allowing ourselves to be moved and directed by the Spirit. We had a member who shared his testimony, which was perfect, and I just love moments like that. Lorenzo and Gari are amazing examples to me of humility and a pure love of God. Gari just had a brain surgery about 2 weeks ago, and she gives the credit of her quick recovery justly to our Heavenly Father. What a great family. =) We have a lesson with them in a little bit.

We also had a service activity this week where we cleaned a house that made me grateful for my mom again, we got permission from our MissionPresident to look after a pet fish from some ward members who are out of town for the week, we named him Teacum to help us feel safer at night. ;) I looked after a 98 year old woman who can still walk and go to the bathroom by herself, but who has dimencia while her son was attending the church meetings, and today we worked out in the morning, running with some members on a university campus, and went to a fancy restaurant and then to an aquarium! Oh! And we got to give a Book of Mormon to our taxi driver who seemed interested in the Gospel! It's been a great week and I have my Heavenly Father to thank for it.

Sure love you all!
